Business Coaching

Coaching is a powerful process of learning, growth and development.

It is a collaborative relationship between a coach and their client which enables, through a process of discovery, goal-setting and strategic actions, the actualisation of what they most want in their company and their lives.

Business Coaching works because the coach helps his/her clients set and reach higher and more appropriate goals, asks more of them than they would have done on their own and focuses them to produce results more quickly.

All our coaching programs require mutual trust and respect between the coach and the coachee. This requires that we have numerous discussions before beginning any contractual program. Each coaching assignment is customised based on your concerns, be they personal or business oriented, and your time available to learn. The programs usually involve a three to six month commitment to working together.

The preferred method for weekly coaching sessions of 45 - 60 minutes, is via the telephone, with email and/or fax support, however if the client desires these sessions can be face to face. Timing is subject to negotiation to suit the client's needs where-ever possible.

In most coaching sessions we use the POWER Coaching process. The word power is used in this case in a positive sense. We see power as being the life-force which exists in most of us, and something which can be translated into constructive behaviour. Coaching is a way of returning power to the individual.

The process is based around structured questioning. This process has a beginning, a middle and an end, and if the Coach sticks to the 5 simple steps whenever possible during a coaching session, what ever the time period, we think both business owner (Coach) and employee (Coachee) will find the process rewarding, positive, and above all achieve the desired outcomes.
